ABOUT WEBOTS
Webots is an open source software, to simulate robots for educational purposes.
It was started in 1996 by Dr. Oliver Michel at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology EPFL in Lausanne. A great advantage is the ODE library that allows you to simulate taxation on objects. The tool allows the modification of various parameters such as textures, colors, and other components in the robot display.
Webots have the possibility to create a controller for the robot in various languages such as C, C ++, Java, Python, Matlab and ROS.
Models created in webots are saved in .wbt files.
